During my recent stay at Cordillera Azul over the Christmas holiday, I was welcomed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to assist with everything from organizing airport transfers to offering local recommendations. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore popular attractions like the stunning Cerro Dorotea and the Mylodon Cave Natural Monument, which was perfect for my adventurous side. Each morning, the free buffet breakfast allowed for a hearty start before my excursions, and the availability of free WiFi kept me connected as I shared my photography from the area with my fiancée. While the room's heating was excellent for the chilly weather, the thin walls did introduce some noise from neighboring guests, but that was a minor note in an otherwise enjoyable experience. Cordillera Azul serves as a great base for anyone looking to dive into the breathtaking landscapes of Puerto Natales.
